Nov. 5- The Aftermath

Of course we all know by now that Barack Obama is going to be the new president of the United States. George Bush already addressed the nation by saying it will be a smooth transition for Obama coming in. Whatever that means.

The electoral vote count was 349 for Obama and 162 for McCain.

As for California propositions:

Prop 1A- is still not fully counted but it looks like we're going to have a high speed rail as the vote so far is at 52% yes. Umm.. great??

Prop 2- won by 62% I wrote a story on this so I will gladly take credit for this victory... unless it goes bad in the future. In that case I will blame George Bush for it.

Prop 3- passed at 54%. So we finally get to pay higher taxes for money that won't be used properly... Yet again.

Prop 4- Looks like is not going to pass with 52% of the vote saying no. Hoorah! Young confused girls can finally make their own decisions without the consent of their parents, in a time where they probably aren't thinking things through and are vulnerable to rash decisions.

Prop 5- will not pass with 59% saying no... You gave it a shot Prop 5. Maybe some other time.

Prop 6- Really? so unnecessary... Lost! with 69% of the vote going no.

Prop 7- 64% say no... What a waste of tons of commercials between every inning of the baseball playoffs.

Prop 8- 52% said yes... Should have taken down 7% more of the signs guys.

Prop 9- 53% said yes.

Prop 10- 59% said no... Alternative fuels? what do you think we live in the future??

Prop 11- Is barely winning with 50.5%!!!! how much closer can you cut it?

Prop 12- 63% said yes, we do want to give loans to veterans.

Measure RR- I have no idea. I can't find results anywhere, but who wouldn't want to help Mt. SAC?? I'm going to put an Isai Rocha prediction. I say it passed with 67%
